Configuration steps
1. Choose a unique name for each client computer
2. Choose a unique IP address for each computer and relevant.
3. Use the same domain name for all the client computers.
Network / system administrators are forced to make these administrative tasks on the server and client computers. And can be for all shares in the network at the server or clients to access through My Network Places in Windows 2000 platform. There is another way to connect to the shared resources to run this command to computer.
Measures could be implemented to configure the network by right clicking on My Computer>
To provide the IP address that will have a right click on My Network Places> Properties> Local Area Connection> Properties Internet Protocol> (TCP / IP)> Properties and then provide the IP address and subnet mask of the same group and category for all computers network .
