Ring topology

In the ring network, each computer or device has two adjacent neighbors for communication. In a ring network, all communication messages traveling in the same directory where clockwise or counterclockwise. Any damage to the cable TV or any device can lead to destruction of the entire network. Ring topology now has become almost obsolete.
FDDI, Sonet, or Token Ring technology can be used to implement the technology of the ring. ring topology can be found in offices, schools or small buildings.
